11~12세 사춘기 아이들의 발육, Development of 11~12 year old adolescents
한글 사전에서 “청년소녀”의 연령층은 15~25세라고 정의한다.
타너(Tanner) 박사는 사춘기 아이들의 2차 성장 발육의 성숙도에 따라 다음과 같은 타너 단계(Tanner Stage)로 분류한다.

| 1 단계 | 사춘기 이전의 남아들의 1차 성징 성숙도와 같은 상태이다. 고환의 직경은 2.0cm이고 크기에 현저한 변화가 없다. 음모가 나지 않았다. |
| 2 단계 | 음낭의 길이가 커지고 음낭이 착색된다. 고환이 커진다. 음모가 음경의 기시 부위에 드문드문 나고 곧다. 음경이 약간 커진다. |
| 3 단계 | 음경이 현저히 커지고 고환의 직경이 3~4cm정도 된다. 음모가 더 길어지고 퍼져나고 꼬불꼬불해진다. 겨드랑에서 발향성 땀이 난다. 여드름이 난다. |
| 4 단계 | 음경이 전보다 더 길어지고 굵어진다. 음모가 더 진하게 길게 더 퍼져난다. 아직 성인 남성의 음모같이 나지는 않는다. 겨드랑이 털이 나고 수염이 나기 시작한다. 음낭 착색이 더 해진다. |
| 5 단계 | 성인남성의 외음부와 비슷하게 난다. 음모가 외부생식기의 중심의 좌우로 상하로 더 퍼져난다. 음성이 변한다. 아래턱에 수염이 나고 귀 앞 부위 얼굴에 수염이 난다. |

| 3 단계 | 유방과 유두륜이 전보다 더 커지고 유두륜이 착색된다. 음모가 더 길고 짙고 꼬불꼬불해지고 퍼져 난다. 발향성 땀이 겨드랑에서 난다. 겨드랑 털이 난다. 여드름이 나기 시작한다. 몽고메리가 생긴다. 외음부가 착색된다. |
| 4 단계 | 젖꼭지가 더 불쑥 커지고 유방에 이중 융기가 형성된다. 음모가 좌우로, 치골 부위까지 더 난다. 겨드랑이 털이 더 길게 더 난다. 전 외음부가 성인여성의 외음부 같이 커진다. 달걀 흰자위 비슷한 질 분비물이 나온다. |
| 5 단계 | 유방이 성인여성의 유방의 모양으로 커진다. 음모가 성인여성의 음모가 난 것처럼 대퇴 상부의 내측, 항문, 복부 최 하부로 퍼져난다. 초경을 이미 한 이후이다. |

- 일부 초기 사춘기 아이들은 단체 활동이나 그룹 활동에서 하는 일이 그들의 가정에서 하는 일보다 더 중요하게 생각한다.
- 초기 사춘기 아이들의 대부분은 자기 자신을 좋아하고 사랑하고 건전한 자부심을 갖고, 각종 사회봉사 활동에 참여하기를 좋아한다.
- 특히 초기 사춘기 남녀 아이들은 쉽게 수줍어하기도 하고 정의감에 불탄다.
- 이 시기 사춘기 아이들은 부모들에게 경제적으로 조금이라도 덜 의존하려고 방과 후나 방학 동안에 다른 사람들의 아기를 돌본다든지, 신문 배달 등 잡일을 해서 돈을 벌고 그 돈으로 자기의 쓰고 싶은 대로 쓰기도 한다.
- ‘정의’ 또는 ‘정직’ 등 추상어를 이해하기 시작한다.
Development of 11-12-year-old adolescents
In the Korean dictionary, the age group of “young girl” is defined as 15 to 25 years old. Dr. Tanner classifies the following Tanner stages according to the maturity level of secondary growth and development of adolescent children.

음낭의 길이가 커지고 음낭이 착색된다. 고환이 커진다. 음모가 음경의 기시 부위에 드문드문 나고 곧다. 음경이 약간 커진다. The length of the scrotum increases and the scrotum becomes pigmented. the testicles enlarge The pubic hair is sparse and straight at the origin of the penis. The penis is slightly enlarged. |

음경이 현저히 커지고 고환의 직경이 3~4cm정도 된다. 음모가 더 길어지고 퍼져나고 꼬불꼬불해진다. 겨드랑에서 발향성 땀이 난다. 여드름이 난다. The penis is markedly enlarged and the diameter of the testicles is about 3 to 4 cm. The pubic hairs become longer, spread out and tortuous. Fragrant sweat from the armpits. I get acne. |

음경이 전보다 더 길어지고 굵어진다. 음모가 더 진하게 길게 더 퍼져난다. 아직 성인 남성의 음모같이 나지는 않는다. 겨드랑이 털이 나고 수염이 나기 시작한다. 음낭 착색이 더 해진다. The penis is longer and thicker than before. The pubic hair spreads longer and darker. It doesn’t look like an adult male’s pubic hair yet. Armpit hair begins to grow and a beard begins to grow. The scrotum becomes more pigmented. |

The pubic hair spreads to the inner side of the upper thigh, the anus, and the lowermost part of the abdomen just like the pubic hair of an adult woman. After menarche has already been done. |

• Some early adolescents value group activities or work in group activities more important than work at home.
• Most early adolescents like and love themselves, have a healthy sense of self-esteem, and like to participate in various community service activities.
• Boys and girls, especially in early puberty, are easily shy and have a sense of justice.
• Adolescents at this time earn money by doing chores such as taking care of other people’s babies or delivering newspapers after school or during vacation in order to be less economically dependent on their parents, and use the money to spend as they please.
• Begins to understand abstract words such as ‘justice’ or ‘honesty’.
