Teenage pregnancy(Pregnant teenager/Teen pregnancy)

Pediatric News, July 2007).

Teenage pregnancy (Pregnant teenager/Teen pregnancy)

Definition and current status of teenage pregnancy

• Teenagers refer to children and young adults between the ages of 13 and 19.

A teenage pregnancy can be called a teenage pregnancy.

• In 1982, 1 million American teenage girls aged 15-19 were pregnant. Of those, 500,000 gave birth, and the remaining 500,000 pregnancies were spontaneous, artificial, or aborted.

• (Source; Recent Journal of the American Medical Association)..750,000 adolescent girls aged 15 to 19 years old report unwanted pregnancies each year.

• If teenage girls actively engage in non-contraceptive sex, they get pregnant 90% of the year (according to Pediatric News, July 2007).

• By the time they graduate from high school, 74% of teens aged 15-19 had had sex at least once or twice, and 36% of them continued to have sex while in high school.

• Also, according to the latest statistics, the pregnancy rate of teenagers in the US is declining slightly every year. As a result, the pregnancy rate among teenage children has decreased by 20% compared to 10 years ago. A 2010 study found that teenage pregnancies in the United States are on the rise again.

• Teenage pregnancies and fertility rates have become a serious social cancer that cannot be cured, causing serious problems not only for teenagers themselves, but also for their parents, families, society and the nation.

• Unfortunately, this is a trend not only in the United States, but also around the world.

• Teenagers themselves, their parents, the country and society are all shouting unanimously that the unwanted pregnancies of teenage children should be reduced to a minimum.

• To achieve this goal, examine the reasons and motives for why so many teens are pregnant.

ect not only the self, but also the teenage girl, the teenage girl’s partner, their parents, the society, and the country.

Recently, a study on the pregnancy of teenage children in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Inje Medical University

• The age group of teenage pregnancy rate was 19 years old, accounting for 52.8% of the total. • For teenage girls with teenage pregnancies, the menarche was 13 to 18 years old, and the average age was 15.0 years. The mean duration of menarche in the control group was 14.7 years.

• As for past pregnancy history, the most common childbirth was the first pregnancy with 35 (66%).

• Of the 16 teenage girls who had a single pregnancy, 3 cases had a full term delivery and 1 case had a cesarean section.

• There were two cases with three pregnancies. In one case, all three initial artificial abortions were performed.

• The distribution of gestational weeks was 40 weeks and 2 days on average and 40 weeks and 4 days in the control group.

• Preterm delivery of infants under 37 weeks of age was more frequent in the teenage pregnant women group.”

Reasons and Motives for Pregnant Teenagers

• The current situation is that mass media such as newspapers, magazines, movies, TV, and the Internet deal with sexual topics indiscriminately and without restrictions, and anyone, regardless of age, can easily access information about sex.

• Through the Internet, not only adults but also teenage children are exposed without restrictions on sex Internet such as Sex.com, or it can lead to a method of finding a sex partner through various chatting means.

• It is no exaggeration to say that teenagers today are completely exposed to various sexual problems.

• Many adults today see sex as indiscriminately open. As if some new science had developed, the word “sex culture” confuses growing teenagers.

• Gender has no “culture”.

• Last name is privacy.

• The “sexual culture” that adults insist on is the current state where even teenagers, without knowing it or knowingly, secretly and sometimes completely permeate the minds, minds and bodies of teenagers.

• For this reason, teens sometimes become sexually aroused without even knowing it, unaware that they are engaging in inappropriate sexual behavior.

• We don’t even know what’s right and what’s wrong with the proper ethical and moral standards in this society. Many teenagers are confused as to whether morality is necessary in life or not. It is also ambiguous about the correct values for sex. In particular, most teenagers seem to be confused about the concept of premarital sex or pregnancy.

• Some teens mistakenly believe that sex is open, and they are not responsible for sexual intercourse, and some have sexual intercourse.

• Rarely, this happens to some adults.

• World-famous politicians and leaders, such as US senators, US presidents, and state governors, are learning and imitating the ways of sexual problems experienced by other older generations.

• People from all walks of life say that it is best to solve premarital sexual desires through abstinence, but in fact, it is not easy to solve sexual desires only with abstinence.

• Especially in modern times, it is not unusual for teenagers to have sex between loved ones, especially in most developed countries, where basic human necessities such as food, clothing, shelter, health, etc. have been addressed and exposed to an affluent daily lifestyle, maintaining the best health, and a modern “sex culture”. There are a lot of teenagers who don’t think it’s life.

• What’s more, if you think that you can contraceptive with various contraceptive methods and contraceptive pills that are easy to obtain and use and have excellent contraceptive effects, and you will not become pregnant, your teenage children will engage in unrestricted sex. As a result, the teenage pregnancy rate continues to increase.

• Because children entering puberty grow and develop rapidly, in just a few years, the builds of teenagers become comparable to or even stronger than those of adults.

• However, their mental and emotional aspects still have many similarities to those of young children.

• They are physically as big as adults, but they are still children.

• The self-judgment of teenagers is still very immature, so they are often not responsible for their sexual relations.

• So sometimes they have irreversible pregnancies and don’t even think about the problems they can have with children having babies.

• The average age of menarche among American adolescent girls is between 12.8 and 13.2 years.

• Some girls start puberty at age 8 and menarche at age 10.

• Most adolescent girls menarche at least before the age of 10-16.

• Early puberty and some physically precocious teens begin sexual activity early in puberty.

• They are children mentally and children physically.

• Most of their sexual knowledge is insufficient and incorrect, and they do not know what their sexual values are and are immature.

• I can’t even use birth control perfectly.

• Moreover, most of them did not grow up receiving unconditional and genuine love from their parents.

• For one reason or another, teenage children become pregnant unintentionally.

• Teenagers who have been subjected to incest or sexual abuse;

• Teenagers who grew up not receiving true unconditional love from their parents and without proper discipline, guidance, or control;

• Teenagers of parents with vague notions of premarital sex;

• Teenagers who start dating at an early age;

• Teenagers who do not do well or work hard in school;

• Teenagers with vague hopes for the future;

• Teenagers who are not receiving adequate financial and emotional support from their parents or family members;

• Anxious and depressed teens are more likely to have premarital sex and are more likely to have teenage pregnancies as a result.

• Even teens who don’t, sometimes have sex as an experience.

• In general, teens who study hard at school and live a strong religious life have far less premarital sex and fewer teenage pregnancies.

Problems and complications of pregnancy in teenage children

• Teenage girls are more prone to pregnancy complications such as pregnancy poisoning, gestational hypertension and anemia when they become pregnant.

• They also have a higher rate of cesarean delivery instead of vaginal delivery because they are not fully grown physically and mentally.

• Higher rates of prematurity, low birth weight, and birth defects. • Newborns and infants born to teenage girls are more susceptible to a variety of diseases, resulting in higher neonatal and infant mortality rates, and even as their children grow older, cognitive and behavioral disorders, psycho-emotional problems, school learning difficulties, and social problems occurs better

• During pregnancy, teenage girls are more likely to be dissatisfied with school, home, and society, and are more likely to drop out of school due to poor grades and economic problems.

• In addition, teenage parents themselves are often unable to properly raise children born to unplanned pregnancies.

• So most teenage parents are more likely to be emotionally and economically dependent on society and the state for child rearing for the rest of their lives.

• Some teens tend to fail to do family planning and contraception after childbirth, so they can get pregnant again soon and become pregnant frequently, making their lives uncomfortable in many ways and they are prone to living unhealthy.

• It is also common for the majority of fathers of teenage boys who have children born after having sex with teenage girls who do not fulfill their father’s roles financially, educationally, emotionally, and otherwise.

• Some teenage fathers are involved in alcoholism, drug addiction, depression, and criminal activity.

• Therefore, it is not possible to maintain a comfortable, stable, and amicable family.

• Problems can arise at work and more often than not, economic problems are encountered.

• However, some teenage parents are not completely dependent on their parents, society, or the state, but marry, have a smooth marital relationship, have a comfortable home, and raise their children well.

• According to US statistics, 57% of teenage pregnancies have artificial abortions, 29% have full-term pregnancies, and 14% have spontaneous abortions. (Source – Pediatric News, July 2007).

• Once diagnosed that you are pregnant, help ensure that you have regular pregnancy health check-ups during pregnancy, do not take medications of any kind without a doctor’s prescription, do not consume alcohol, do not smoke, and A healthy pregnancy should help to reach full term and deliver a healthy full-term baby.

• Most teenage pregnancies that end in spontaneous abortion or who have abortions due to artificial miscarriage can suffer mentally and physically for the rest of their lives.

• Most of the teenage children who did not have children due to planned pregnancy and childbirth will continue to live with more problems in terms of education and economy throughout their lives.

• Also, unfortunately, teenagers who are unable to raise children on their own, adopt them, or have someone in their family to raise them.

• Teaching teens to abstain from sex is not as effective as a general study.

• It is far more appropriate to use contraception to prevent pregnancy than to sexually educate people not to become pregnant through abstinence.

• Why do teens actively engage in sexual intercourse with an expert?

• It is necessary to provide regular pediatric sex education appropriate to the age and ability of the children at home, school, or church.

• Sometimes it’s good to ask your regular pediatrician about this kind of sex education.

• Prevent unwanted and unplanned teenage pregnancies by proactively providing pediatric sex education to teens, including abstinence, responsible sex, premarital sex and its consequences, contraceptive methods and methods of preventing communicable diseases.

• It is said that good regular pediatric sex education to teenage children does not significantly reduce the teenage pregnancy rate.

• There are many ways to prevent a teen from becoming pregnant. However, there is no single way that parents are responsible and prevent their teenage children from becoming pregnant.

• Nevertheless, the best way to minimize teenage pregnancies is for parents to truly love their teens unconditionally, to train them in love, to have good conversations with them, and to treat their teens with trust. am.
