포피염, Posthitis

- 자지의 포피에 생긴 염증을 포피염이라 한다.
- 포피로 싸여진 자지의 끝 부분을 귀두라 하고 그 귀두에 생긴 염증을 귀두염이라 한다.
- 때로는 귀두에만 염증이 생기지 않고 포피에도 염증이 동시 생길 수 있다.
- 귀두와 포피에 염증이 동시 생기면 귀두 포피염(Balanoposthitis)이라한다.
포피염의 원인
- 접촉성 피부염, 심한 수음, 옴, 외상, 세균 감염, 성병, 소아 성학대, 라이터스 증후군, 헤르페스바이러스 감염병 등이 원인이다.
포피염의 증상 징후 진단
- 붓고 가렵고, 발적되고 진물이 날 수 있다.
- 포피염과 귀두염이 동시 생길 수 있다.
- 이런 경우를 포피 귀두염이라 한다.
- 병력·증상 징후·진찰 소견을 종합해 진단한다.
포피염의 치료
- 원인과 증상에 따라 치료한다.
